One bay, six communities

The design framework establishes six unique waterfront communities that create a cohesive and integrated urban and ecological system. By preserving natural assets and habitats, enhancing existing villages, incubating new high-tech industries, and fostering dynamic mixed-use tourism clusters, each community contributes to achieving the goal of balanced environmental, social, and economic development.

Bay of tourism

Shaped by its unique landscapes and marine habitats, Van Phong’s tourism potential lies in strengthening both ecological resources and economic opportunities at the same time. A series of marine and land conservation zones, waterfront parks, promenades and recreational programs define each tourism cluster. With a diverse range of hotels and attractions, the multitude of ecological, leisure and cultural experiences will make Van Phong stand out in the region.

Infrastructure-led growth

New rail, road, water and air infrastructure form a foundation to the framework, with sustainable mobility enabled through a network of light rail transit, protected bike lanes, and lush, tree-lined walkways. A new airport serves as an international gateway and center for research and logistics, while cruise and ferry services converge at the Marina City, a leisure and retail destination and a hub for exploring the coast.
