Charles Schwab, one of the nation’s premier financial services providers, hired SOM to rethink its brand image and heighten its street presence through the redesign of numerous investor centers across the country. SOM created a strong graphic identity and a new retail presence based on fully integrated technology and a consistent approach to furniture, fixtures, and color palette that speaks to the company’s solid reputation.
The flagship locations in New York City at 300 Park Avenue and Rockefeller Center contain stations for individual web trading, private meeting spaces for investor counseling, and counters for transactions. This design is being implemented across Schwab’s network of more than 200 retail spaces.
