This fall, Tianjin CTF Finance Centre topped out in Tianjin, China. A striking new landmark, the tower is on pace to be completed in 2018. At 530 meters, the 96-story skyscraper will bring office space, serviced apartments, and a five-star hotel to the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area. The project is targeting LEED®? Gold certification.?
Structurally unique, Tianjin CTF Finance Centre utilizes curved corners, a tapering form, and an open top and porous crown to dramatically reduce wind loads while maximizing structural efficiency. The high-performance facade system was designed to significantly reduce heating and cooling requirements while maximizing daylighting and views.?
