On September 23, SOM Partner Carrie Byles will participate in a panel discussion about the UCSF Sandler Neurosciences Center at the P3 Summit, where experts will share best practices related to public-private partnerships (P3s). The state-of-the art facility in San Francisco, which houses several of the world’s leading neuroscience research programs, stands as the result of collaboration between UCSF, a developer, and a nonprofit.
Byles will be joined by others who oversaw the project’s completion, including Michael Freeman of McCarthy Cook and Steve Dell’Orto of Clark Construction.
The Sandler Neurosciences Center was recently shortlisted for the P3 Award’s Best Designed Project, which recognizes exemplary public-private partnerships across North and Latin America.
