The Structural Engineering Association of Northern California (SEAONC) awarded the 2023 Award of Excellence for New Construction to One Steuart Lane.

One Steuart Lane, a 120-residence tower on San Francisco’s waterfront, accommodates an indoor-outdoor California lifestyle in an urban high-rise. In the evolving fabric of the city, the project’s waterfront site, previously occupied by a parking structure, presented a remarkable opportunity for residential development. 

The structural design facilitated the creation of dramatic open spaces within the residences, and at the perimeter of the building, where seamless glass doors open onto wrap-around terraces.  The twenty-story tower boasts views of the Bay and the surrounding landscape while benefiting from the accessibility, environmental responsibility, and energy of an urban center.
