Beautiful quality of light throughout [couples] with a high level of sustainability and performance. And [it is] extremely cohesive—the architecture and interiors blend seamlessly.”
The Learning and Development Center for Roche Diagnostics, a Swiss-based medical diagnostics company, is a study in architecture’s role in defining corporate character. The 87,000-square-foot building, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, comprises three distinct program zones: a VIP sales suite, customer training labs, and seminar rooms. ?The architectural design throughout emphasizes clarity of structural expression.?
Extensive use of bright white metal within a modernist palette of glass and steel establishes the company’s European brand standards, and reinforces consistent brand identity on a campus of existing buildings. The building’s high level of environmental performance reinforces Roche’s longstanding commitment to sustainability.?
