Patricia Yeh to Speak in a Panel Discussion on the Trans-Pacific Partnership Trade Agreement

On Monday, February 29th, Patricia Yeh, SOM Senior Manager in the San Francisco office will join a panel discussion on the potential business implications of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). Recently signed by the U.S. and 11 other countries in the Pacific Rim, the TPP is a trade agreement that is expected to boost U.S. economic growth through the elimination of trade barriers that American products and services currently face.? The event is sponsored by California-Asia Business Council, U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Small Business Association (SBA), and U.S. Department of Commerce (USDC).

Yeh has managed many of SOM’s complex mixed-use urban projects in Asia. She will talk specifically about how TPP, as one of the first commerce accords to address service industries, is expected to affect companies like SOM with portfolios that include overseas public projects. She joins Holly Vineyard of the USDC, Tong Qin of the SBA, and Deep SenGupta of the consulting firm DSG Global.
