A car and a home that share a power source could be the way of the future. East Tennessee researchers are creating that very technology. The Additive Manufacturing Integrated Energy project, or AMIE, shows a home and a car that can power each other using electricity and a natural gas hybrid powered car. The project was the show piece of Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Industry Day.
