UC Hastings College of the Law celebrated the topping out of its newest academic facility in February 2019. Located at 333 Golden Gate Avenue, in San Francisco’s Civic Center and Tenderloin neighborhoods, the project is the first to be developed as part of the college’s emerging Urban Academic Village.
The building’s design seeks to reimagine the identity of UC Hastings, advancing the traditional law school experience with modern learning spaces and an environment that promotes collaboration and informal interaction among students, faculty, and staff. The facility also celebrates the college’s unique relationship to its dynamic neighborhood, with an outdoor quad that acts as the new heart of campus and an impressive rooftop event space that provides views of City Hall and the iconic San Francisco skyline.
Construction is expected to be complete at the end of 2019.
