On Tuesday, September 19th, SOM Associate Neil Katz will speak at the Buildings 2.0 Conference hosted by BuiltWorlds. Buildings 2.0, which will be held at the SOM-designed UI Labs in Chicago,? is a day-long conference. Participants will discuss and explore opportunities created by smart building technology. In his presentation, “Designing & Fabricating Next Generation Buildings,” Katz will explain how breakthroughs in resilience, sustainability, performance, efficiency, quality, and expression can address broader challenges in today’s built environment.
Joining Katz at the conference will be speakers from Microsoft, Clayco, WeWork, Underwriters Labatories, and other companies.
