SOM Associate Director Meredith Bostwick-Lorenzo Eiroa will join colleagues from Learning Spaces Collaboratory and other experts to facilitate a webinar on September 16th. The webinar, titled “Transforming, Sandboxing, Repurposing Learning Spaces for Nurturing Creative Learning, Creative Learners: Lessons Learned from the LSC Experience,” will explore how spaces can be designed to create engaging learning environments that inspire creative thinkers. Tactics for how to engage and incorporate the input of multiple stakeholders in shaping a new or repurposed learning space will also be considered.
Jeanne L. Narum, a founding principal of the Learning Spaces Collaboratory, will moderate the webinar. Bostwick-Lorenzo Eiroa will be joined by co-facilitators Leticia Britos Cavagnaro, the Deputy Director of the National Center for Engineering Pathways to Innovation at the Stanford University dschool, and Russell G. Carpenter, the Director of the Noel Studio for Academic Creativity at Eastern Kentucky University.
