On May 4, SOM Associate Director Jon Cicconi will participate in a panel discussion on how the design of hospitality projects can adapt and succeed during the pandemic. The “Lightning Round” conversation, hosted by Hospitality Design magazine, will highlight the stories and lessons learned in the panelists’ recent work. Cicconi’s presentation will focus on Moynihan Train Hall.
Joining Cicconi on the panel will be Jersey Banks, Partner at Urban Cowboy + The Dive Motel; Kent Lindvall, Founder + Owner of Treehotel; Alessandro Munge, Founder of Studio Munge; and Jacu Strauss, Creative Director at Lore Group. The discussion will be moderated by Stacy Shoemaker Rauen, Editor in Chief of Hospitality Design.
The event is part of the Hospitality Design Expo + Conference Virtual Preview, a two-day event that will feature a total of 10 sessions that will be broadcast live. It will serve as a springboard to the magazine’s conference in August.
