Godrej Garden City, designed by SOM, is one of 16 projects chosen for a new global program developed by the Clinton Climate Initiative and the U.S. Green Building Council. Called the Climate Positive Development Program, the initiative will support the development of highly sustainable, large-scale urban projects around the world. The chosen projects will strive to reduce the amount of on-site CO2 emissions to below zero. Godrej Garden City is slated to be built in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
