On Wednesday, October 17th, SOM Associate Director Ryan Culligan, Associate Jason Fisher, and architectural assistant Sarah Rozman will host “Live Art: Stadium at Lincoln Yards.” The event is part of The Big Draw, a month-long festival hosted at Apple flagship stores around the world. In this free event, which takes place at Apple Michigan Avenue in Chicago, the team will discuss how the proposed stadium at Lincoln Yards will lead the recovery of Chicago’s industrial riverfront. On their own devices, or those provided by Apple, attendees will get hands-on practice and sketch their own ideas for the stadium using the Morpholio Trace app with iPad and Apple Pencil.
The session is the third of five events SOM is leading at Apple Michigan Avenue as a part of The Big Draw during October, 2018. The Big Draw is a charity dedicated to promoting visual literacy worldwide. The festival is the world’s biggest drawing event.
