All Aboard: RTD’s Train to Westminster to Bring Big Changes

Denver’s network of passenger rail lines is about to be expanded—again.

The Regional Transportation District and its contractor, Denver Transit Partners, on Monday, July 25, will open the B line between Denver Union Station and Westminster to passengers.

The commuter rail line, which features the larger, faster rail cars compared to the long-running light rail lines, will trundle 6.2 miles between Denver Union Station and the station at 71st Avenue and Lowell Boulevard. Travel time will be 11 minutes between downtown and Westminster.
