On Tuesday, October 24th, SOM Managing Director Adam Semel will speak at the Land Use Connection Breakfast in Chicago. The event is hosted by Foley & Lardner LLP, a leading global law firm. Themed “Exploring the Redevelopment of the North Branch Area,” the panel centers on a discussion of the City of Chicago’s North Branch Redevelopment Framework Plan. Recently begun, the plan encompasses the future site of Lincoln Yards, a 70-acre mixed-use development on Chicago’s North Side. The project is led by Sterling Bay and was designed by SOM in collaboration with a team of leading firms.
The panel will be moderated by Donna Pugh, Partner at Foley & Lardner LLP. Semel will be joined on the panel by Brian Hopkins, 2nd Ward Alderman, City of Chicago, and Stacey Meekins, Director of Transportation Planning at Sam Schwartz Engineering.
