SOM is excited to announce that our very own Chicago Studio Renovation and University of Illinois and Urbana-Champaign Campus Instructional Facility have been nominated for the AIA Chicago Lerch Bates People’s Choice Awards, presented in partnership with the Chicago Architecture Center!

These awards honor the outstanding architecture for the public, and highlight contributions in equitable and sustainable places and spaces. We are thrilled to be nominated for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Campus Instructional Facility (CIF) in the Education category and the SOM Chicago Studio Renovation in the Office category!

Now, we need your help! From now until September 18th, you can cast your vote for the SOM Chicago Studio Renovation here, and vote for UIUC CIF in the Education category, here.

Winners will be announced at Designight on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the Harris Theater in Chicago.
