NLA’s London Tall Buildings Survey 2024 presents insights into planning policies, attitudes toward density, and the climate agenda in London. Marking the 10th anniversary of the survey, this edition sheds light on how tall buildings have transformed London over the last 10 years and how they will continue to shape the city’s future.
Design Partner Kent Jackson and Principal Peter Jackson were among the industry-wide experts invited to share their thoughts on the evolution of London’s tall buildings and the shift toward making the typology more sustainable by reducing their carbon footprint.
The survey also features insights into London’s most celebrated tall buildings, including SOM-designed projects Manhattan Loft Gardens (pictured), Thames City, and 100 Leadenhall Street.
The NLA is an independent forum for discussion, debate, and information about architecture, planning, and development in London.
