On Saturday, June 22nd, 2019, Design Partner Colin Koop and Associate Director Meredith Bostwick-Lorenzo Eiroa will participate in a roundtable discussion with the Learning Spaces Collaboratory (LSC). The event, titled “A Permeable Ecosystem of Space – Serving All Students,” will take place at The New School’s University Center in New York. Koop, alongside The New School’s Vice President of Buildings, Lia Gartner, will lead a tour of the facility and a discussion about its design and use. Bostwick-Lorenzo Eiroa will facilitate the roundtable conversation on the future of learning spaces.
The LSC Roundtable provides an opportunity for academics and architects to come together and explore what is known about planning spaces for learning, and what questions should drive planning into the future. SOM is a sponsor of the LSC.
