Working with Urban Rivers and Omni Ecosystems, we have designed a never-before-seen exhibit for the Seoul Biennale on Architecture and Urbanism that showcases the layers of Chicago’s Wild Mile. The exhibit explores the history of the Chicago River and how the Wild Mile is increasing biodiversity, cleaning the river, and reviving the relationship between humans and nature through reclamation.
The exhibit is one of many opening at the Sky Pavilion during the fourth edition of the Seoul Biennale, taking place from September 1st to October 29th 2023 at various locations across Seoul, South Korea.
This year’s theme focuses on Multi-Layered Land Use and Green Network, and will establish long-term plans for the city that propose eco-friendly urban solutions and new infrastructure.
