Maximizing value on a difficult site was the key challenge facing SOM designers in the Tidal Basin development near London’s City Airport. Tidal Basin possesses some of the region’s best views; SOM designers used sophisticated computer programs to shape and place the site’s two towers in an orientation that provides all of the units with exceptional views without obstruction.
